RMR - Rhodes Music Radio is a community radio station located on the campus of the Rhodes University Grahamstown. It broadcasts within 50km of Grahamstown using the frequency 89.7 FM and to the world via online live streaming. Run by students and staff workers from various social and cultural backgrounds, the station offers creative, informative and experimental content in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa. Its line-up includes news reports, sports programmes, entertainment shows, music shows and talk shows on different topics such as current affairs, lifestyle, law, business, finance, technology and social issues.
